Welcome to GiftED Partners! Let me share a little about myself so you can understand why I founded GiftED Partners to help school districts like yours.
I have 35 years of experience in public education, extensive expertise spans instructional leadership, strategic planning, school improvement, and educational program implementation. This includes a distinguished career across classroom teaching, gifted education leadership, and district-level administration reflects a consistent focus on partnering with educators and school leaders to improve student outcomes through effective systems, targeted professional learning, and data-informed decision-making.
Prior to founding GiftED Partners, I served in the role of Director of Instruction overseeing elementary programming across three schools serving approximately 3,500 students districtwide in the Elkhorn Area School District in Wisconsin. This work included leadership of strategic initiatives supporting teaching and learning from early childhood through grade five. Responsibilities included coordination of district wide professional development, facilitation of data-driven improvement processes, management of federal funding programs, oversight of multilingual learner services, and leadership of Multi-Level Systems of Support (MLSS) implementation.
I have been recognized as a leader in literacy and instructional systems, successful implementation of Act 20 across 4K–Grade 3 ensured alignment of curriculum, assessment, intervention, and professional learning practices. Additional leadership responsibilities included oversight of Title I, II, III, and IV programming, McKinney-Vento services, English Learner programs, Gifted and Talented education, and elementary strategic planning.
Prior experience includes 14 years as a classroom teacher and 9 years as a Gifted and Talented Coordinator, building deep expertise in differentiated instruction, talent development, and student-centered learning.
My educational credentials include a Master’s in Educational Administration from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point.
